Release Notes: SCO OpenServer 6 SST Driver
Release notes for version 3.51 of the SST software for SCO OpenServer 6.
Supported OpenServer Releases
The SST driver and associated software is only supported on SCO OpenServer 6 releases and up. This package may not be used on OpenServer releases prior to OpenServer 6.
Installation
The driver package can be installed using the standard procedure for installing OpenServer packages:
Please refer to the SCO man page or documentation if you are unfamiliar with the procedures for using pkgadd.
The following steps should be followed to update and configure the SST driver on the OpenServer 6 system.
1. Transfer the driver image to the OpenServer 6 system.
2. Copy the file to the tmp folder
3. Uncompress the file.
4. Run pkgadd
pkgadd -d /tmp/<Driver File>
Release 3.52a:
- Driver fix - ioctl IXANY was not forcing setting on SST.
- Driver fix - turn on control signals on non-zero baud rate change.
- eqnxMNN - force device files to be 0666.
- ssdiag - fix for "send" function.
Release 3.51:
- Installation problem fix. Driver would not add entries into /etc/inittab for ports numbered higher than 9 (for example 1a10).
Release 3.50A:
- Initial release of the OpenServer 6 Driver. Supports all existing SST functionality.
